Frequently Asked Questions

What is the purpose of this survey?
The microISV Research Alliance is a network of research labs focused on improving microISV operations. This survey will provide insight into the problems facing microISV operators and will guide future research. As a microISV operator, your input is extremely valuable.

Why do you need my email address?
To ensure the most accurate data, the survey is limited to microISV operators. Each survey participant is identified using an email address, which limits the potential for casual visitors poking around and invalidating the results.

Why should I take the survey?
You will have access to the (anonymized) survey results. This data could be helpful in guiding your microISV operations or in creating new products.

Any other reasons why I should take the survey?
Free advertising for your microISV. At the conclusion of the survey period, we'll post a list of the survey respondents on our website (participation is voluntary). The list will include your microISV's name, URL, and a brief biography submitted by you. I can feel the search engine love already!

How many questions are on the survey?
There are about fifteen (15) questions total. So, it's fairly short.

Do I have to provide any personal information?
No, except for your email address. You can (optionally) provide some your name, a link, and a short biography and I will list you as a participant, with a link to your site.
